Official: Antitrust sees no reason for sunflower seed oil price rise

MOSCOW, Sep 9 (PRIME) -- Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service sees no reason for a significant growth of sunflower oil prices, an official told PRIME on Wednesday.

"The Federal Antimonopoly Service sees no reason for a significant growth of consumer prices for sunflower oil. The service came to this conclusion after a retrospective analysis of the sunflower seed and sunflower seed oil market price situation," the official said.

On Monday, SovEcon warned that Russia can face a very small harvest of sunflower seed in 2020 because of the unfavorable weather.
